About the Production Manager at Dat Bike

We are looking to hire a skilled Production Manager the production line processes. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, your job is to maintain the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.

To ensure success as a Production Manager you should have extensive experience in process design, excellent technical skills, and high-level analytical skills. A top-class Production Manager can analyze a process system and implement simple yet effective changes to boost production.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversees the day-to-day workflow of production staff.

Manages supervisory process engineer.

Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

Oversees the production process to ensure delivery of high-quality products that meet customers needs.

Ensures appropriate production rate to reduce delivery delays.

Collaborates with the customer service and sales departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.

Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in production; ensures necessary labor, materials, and other resources are available to relieve production bottlenecks and delays.

Uses production planning and scheduling to limit materials shortages.

Ensures production machinery complies with professional and safety standards.

Schedules maintenance and repair of machines used in production process to avoid downtime or delays.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial System Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering.

Proven work experience as a Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Supervisor, Production Manager

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing requirements and planning.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with computerized materials control programs.

Proficient with Office software or similar software.
