About the job

We are looking for a Planning Manager to be responsible for a broad range of duties related to the day-to-day functions associated with planning, supplies, and operations.

Responsibilities

The Planning Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Lead the S&OP cycle including data collection, running pre-S&OP and monthly S&OP meetings.

  • Continually review the S&OP process to ensure it continues to be up-to-date with current best practice and suitable for business needs.

  • Coordinate with Production and Purchasing to establish production schedules to meet customer needs while ensuring that raw materials are available to support production.

  • Supervise inventory level and inventory record accuracy.

  • Analyze current inventory levels and identifying trends to determine when additional inventory should be ordered.

  • Develop planning tools and framework to determine material requirement and material stock projection.

  • Seek and recommend solutions to overcome issues arising in order to meet production requirements and address operational risks.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, finance, engineering or information technology or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, supply chain or a related position.

  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in Office software and material management systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
